Yesterday and today: - when the Domaine des Fontaines was purchased in 1998, "clean construction site" practices   were used to protect the area, - buildings were insulated to reduce demand for heating, - particular attention was paid to landscaping and preserving the environment: underground parking   lot and loading dock, - composting of biodegradable waste.
	Tomorrow: - enhance and develop the grounds' biodiversity, which already includes some 39 species of   nesting birds..
