| Les Fontaines, sustainability is our nature |
| Sharing knowledge in a protected natural setting, such is the vocation of Capgemini's campus at Les Fontaines. A commitment to sustainability is a natural outgrowth of this approach. Embodied in a four-part action plan, this commitment means striving to create sustainable development, and to imagine daily acts that can turn good intentions into action. |

| What is the Eco-label? |
|
The Eco-label is granted by the the European Union Eco-labelling Board (EUEB), which brings together representatives from various sectors of industry with environmental and consumer protection groups.
All goods and services marked with the "Flower" that symbolises this green label have been checked out by independent organisations to verify their conformity with strict ecological and performance criteria.
These concern not only energy consumption and waste management, but also energy supply, air quality and cleaning methods, water use and waste water, as well as management.

Doing away with individual packaging |
|
In order to reduce the volume of solid waste and to eliminate potential wastage, Les Fontaines did away with all individual packaging in the rooms and the dining areas. At breakfast guests now find butter, jam, honey etc in bulk containers, as well many organic or fair-trade products.
