R: The Les Fontaines estate is a private conference center which hosts corporate events such as conferences, product launches, stockholder gatherings and motivational meetings. R: No, the Les Fontaines estate is intended exclusively for corporate events.

R: Les Fontaines can accommodate up to 300 people, so it is possible for several events to take place simultaneously. However, you can reserve Les Fontaines for private use, for an additional fee.

Accommodation, meals and services

Q: What do you provide in the guest rooms ?

R: The guest rooms provide every comfort. Each guest room is furnished with a double bed, desk, telephone, free WiFi access, a television and a bathroom with a shower. All rooms also come with a hairdryer and a towel warmer.

Q: What is provided in the bathrooms ?

R: In the interest of respecting the environment, Les Fontaines limits the toiletries provided in guest rooms to shampoo and soap. However, the reception can help you in case of emergency, with travel toothbrushes and toothpaste, as well as other essential items.

Q: Are laundry services available at Les Fontaines? Can you provide ironing facilities ?

R: Our laundry service is available on demand from the reception. We can also provide you with an iron and ironing board.

R: The work spaces and the chateau are air-conditioned. The guest rooms are also equipped with air conditioning, as a result of a geothermic project launched in summer 2010 which has enabled us to improve your comfort while respecting our commitments to environmental responsibility.

R: Yes, all meals are served in the chateau or at the Forum Bar, but they are not served in the meeting rooms or the guest rooms.

R: Yes, the catering team will take your needs into account. Upon registering as attending an event at Les Fontaines, please share your dietary requirements with the event organizer, who will communicate them to us directly.

Q: What sort of weather do you have at Les Fontaines ?

R: Les Fontaines is situated 50km north of Paris, in Chantilly, where the weather is variable. It is worth consulting the weather forecast before leaving, on http://www.worldweather.org or through the French weather forecast website.

Q: Will I need to go outside ?

R: Since Les Fontaines is a campus, the facilities are spread out in different buildings. Therefore you will need to go outside in order to go from one building to the next. For this reason, there is a covered passage which leads from the Villas, where the guest rooms are located, to the Forum, where seminars take place. If you wish, you can take advantage of various terraces and outside spaces, as well as wooded paths and fitness courses.

Q: Are there exercise facilities at Les Fontaines ?

R: At Les Fontaines, you have a number of sports and relaxation facilities at your disposal: a fitness center, indoor pool, steam room and sauna, as well as tennis courts, a fitness track and walking routes in the 52-hectar park. R: We recommend that you bring your own laptop. It is very easy to connect to the network and to the Les Fontaines WiFi, which is available throughout the campus.

R: The network is reachable from all guest rooms. Free WiFi is available throughout the campus, and there are more than 3,500 sockets.

Q: What is the mains voltage in France ?

R: The voltage is 220V AC. We recommend that you bring your adaptor; however these are provided at the reception, as well as extension leads.

R: There are freely accessible PCs in the Forum lounges, allowing you to access your emails.

Security at Les Fontaines

Q: What security measures are undertaken at Les Fontaines ?

R: We do everything in our power to guarantee your security. Les Fontaines is under 24/7 surveillance by our dedicated security teams. The estate is protected by a boundary wall. All visitors must register at the security post upon entering the estate. Les Fontaines conforms to French fire security standards.

Q: What are the actions to follow in the event of an emergency ?

R: Security instructions in case of fire or evacuation are posted in all guest rooms and on all panels in the main parts of the campus. In case of a medical emergency, call the reception for help immediately.

Q: What is the security procedure for visitors ?

R: All visitors must inform Les Fontaines of their visit in advance, and register at the security post upon arrival. Unexpected visitors must state their identity. The person whom they state they are visiting must confirm the visit before the visitor may enter the site.

Q: Should I keep my passport on me ?

R: You may be asked to present your passport at the reception upon arrival, but once on the site you no longer need to keep it on you. However, if you go out, make sure that you take it out with you to present it to Les Fontaines security when you return.

R: The authorization to take photos or videos during your stay may be subject to special conditions. Please contact the organizer of your event to find out more.

Arrival and departure times

Q: What is the checkout time ?

R: You must checkout by 9am. You can leave your bags in the luggage storage room until your departure. At 9am, the reception will exchange the access badge to your guest room with a day pass which you must return to the security post when leaving the site.

Q: Can I arrive before the start of my event and stay longer afterwards ?

R:When necessary, we can always find somewhere to accommodate you. If Les Fontaines is fully booked, or if it is a holiday period, you will need to find another solution for your accommodation. www.chantilly-tourisme.com gives you a list of all hotels in the area and http://www.parisinfo.com has a list of hotels in Paris.

R: By taxi, Les Fontaines is 30 minutes from Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle airport and 50 minutes from Paris Gare du Nord, the arrival station for Eurostar and Thalys trains. For more information, check out the Getting here section.

Q: How do I get to Les Fontaines by train ?

R: Les Fontaines is a 20-minute TER train journey away from Paris Gare du Nord, which is also the arrival station for Eurostar and Thalys trains, as well as RER trains from Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle and Orly airports. The closest train station to Les Fontaines is Chantilly-Gouvieux. Timetables can be found on www.sncf.com. For more information, visit www.aeroportsdeparis.com. From Orly airport, we advise you to take the RER B3 (accessible via shuttle bus) towards Paris Gare du Nord (30 minutes), then the TER train towards Chantilly-Gouvieux station (20 minutes). Upon arrival at the train station, you will find taxis which can take you to Les Fontaines in just 5 minutes.
