Housekeepers, a sense of duty

With seven villas featuring 300 standard and superior rooms and 5 suites, Campus Les Fontaines offers an upscale hotel environment. Add to this the 450-seat auditorium, 60 meeting rooms, restaurants and all the common areas, and you begin to get an idea of the scale of the housekeepers' work.
" There are 45,000 visitors a year to Campus Les Fontaines, and over 42,000 overnight stays," explains Marianne Guerrier, Gouvernante Générale. Her mission? "To create a cosy atmosphere, so that our visitors feel at home in all the spaces. First impressions count for a lot, so everything has to be perfect, welcoming and caring. Everything has to be impeccable; our standards are those of the best hotels. "
From five o'clock in the morning, the teams are in place," Marianne explains. Hotels, auditoriums, châteaux, thermal baths with swimming pool and sauna, Normandy farms... there are plenty of places to prepare! "
" We also regularly set up little 'extras': swan-neck towels, courtesy trays with coffee and tea, or dry cleaning, to make participants' stay even more pleasant. " We also have to take care of the absent-minded: forgetfulness is a frequent occurrence. Between smartphone chargers, sometimes laptops, or even personal belongings, when it's not the passport, forgotten items come in all shapes and sizes. Fortunately, the team is always on the lookout. " We accompany our guests, always being very discreet ". The feedback is also very positive: one group, accustomed to five-star hotels, recently praised the team for the high quality of its service. These are the best moments," concludes Marianne, "the recognition of our work demonstrates our professionalism in contributing to a flawless customer experience.
