European Heritage Days 2016

European Heritage Days: welcome to the Campus!

There are plenty of good reasons to come and discover the Capgemini Les Fontaines Campus during the European Heritage Days on September 18 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm (last admission at 4:00 pm). One of them is undoubtedly to discover how the site has succeeded in the audacious challenge of combining cultural tradition, technological innovation and respect for the environment.
Come along this Sunday, September 18, and you'll be strolling through a park, made up of woods and meadows. Along the way, you may come across deer, foxes, kingfishers or barnacle geese sailing on the pond. Behind this bucolic façade, you'll discover a contemporary site combining modernity and tradition, at the confluence of two worlds. In fact, the estate is cited by the 4 regional nature parks in the Ile de France region as an example of how to reconvert historic heritage for economic use.
Park, Château, conference center, 19th-century farmhouse with the look of a Norman building, work and reflection areas, green and invigorating trail, the best thing is to feel the alchemy of the place, and that's possible at any time, especially on Heritage Day.
On the program: visits to discover the history of the site (the Rothschild family, the estate during the Second World War, the Jesuit company, the installation of the Capgemini Campus...) and walks in the 52-hectare park to discover its caves, springs and biodiversity. A foodtruck will be on hand to serve burgers and drinks. A great day out for all! We look forward to seeing you!
