European Heritage Days 2016

European Heritage Days: welcome to the Campus!

There are plenty of good reasons to come explore the Capgemini Campus Les Fontaines during European Heritage Days on September 18 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (last admission at 4:00 p.m.). One of them is undoubtedly to discover how the site has successfully pulled off the bold challenge of combining cultural tradition, technological innovation, and respect for the environment.
Come this Sunday, September 18, and you’ll stroll through a park made up of woods and meadows. As you follow the fitness trail, you might spot deer, foxes, kingfishers, or barnacle geese gliding across the pond. Behind this idyllic façade, you’ll discover a contemporary site that blends modernity and tradition—a meeting of two worlds. Domain is, in fact, cited by the four regional nature parks of Île-de-France as an example of the conversion of historic heritage into an economic destination.
A park, a château, a convention center, a 19th-century farm with the charm of a Norman-style building, spaces for work and reflection, and a green, invigorating trail—the best part is still experiencing the magic of the place, which you can do at any time, especially during this Heritage Day.
On the agenda: guided tours to explore the site’s history (the Rothschild family, the “ Domain ” during World War II, the Jesuit order, the establishment of the Capgemini Campus…) and walks through the 52-hectare park to discover its caves, springs, and biodiversity. A food truck will be on site serving burgers and drinks. A wonderful day in store for everyone! We look forward to seeing you there!
