Form and content: new audiovisual and technological trends
Today, it's hard to imagine a seminar or business event without audiovisual support. At a time when the world is becoming ultra-connected, the latest audiovisual and technological trends are more than ever at the service of companies to accompany and enhance their events.
Sound and image
Recent years have seen the emergence of new technological experiences that make it easier to achieve communication objectives: drones, holograms, instant 3D visualization, virtual reality, olfactory marketing, LED walls and projection mapping.
The development and rapid expansion of these new technologies meet every challenge, making a lasting impression and immersing participants in a unique environment. They often leave an indelible impression on the audience.
The participant, at the heart of the event
But the real trend in audiovisual events is not technological: it's about the participant. " Today, it ' s very clear that the participant is no longer as passive as in the past, and we need to create a very strong notion of interactivity in professional events, highlighting the image ," explains Samuel Arama, founder of STARDUST Group, a company specializing in the design and production of customized event projects.
" Image plays a key role in business meetings. Like today's society, we're looking to streamline the message and support it with images, which are more impactful than long speeches, often via very large screens. Focused in this way, the message becomes more forceful, and therefore more compelling.
Interactivity means using new digital applications during the event, adapted to the audience, the messages and the values of each. Acting as virtual conciergeries, they can be used to monitor the program, display additional data or conduct surveys. These applications also list speakers' names, contact details, biographies, session schedules, opportunities to interact via social networks and many other features. Organizers gain peace of mind, save time and better control their return on investment.
Green technology with a resolutely forward-looking approach
The future of audiovisual support for professional events must also be respectful of our planet. "More than just a trend, eco-responsibility is an integral part of our work," insists Samuel Arama.
The audiovisual industry, which is inherently energy-intensive and polluting, is changing its face. "And this involves a complete overhaul of our lighting and video equipment, in favor of LEDs and lasers that considerably reduce our impact on the environment. From post-event recycling channels to hybrid vehicles, the carbon footprint of events is now calculated and often requested by customers. Eco-responsibility concerns us all, and proves that high-tech is not incompatible with respect for the planet."
The latest audiovisual trends could well be to achieve the feat of being both "spectacular and carbon-neutral".
And to achieve this, the support of audiovisual experts remains essential. The human element remains at the heart of high-tech professional events...
